John 14:23-24

"Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me."

1 John 5:3

"This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,"

The Christian obeys Christ not because he fears Christ, but because he loves Him! True Obedience results from an awareness of the true Value and Worth of the One we obey. Is Satan or the Sin Nature worthy of our Obedience? No Way! Then why do we keep following their influence in our lives? Jesus alone is Worthy of our Faith and Obedience!
