Philippians 4:8

Colossians 3:2
"Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things."
Colossians 3:16
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God."
Colossians 3:16 is a parallel verse to Ephesians 5:18. Paul is teaching us that there is a direct relationship between being filled with the Spirit of Christ and being filled with the Word of Christ, for the Word of Christ is spirit and life!
