The Reality of Christ

John makes it clear that they (he and the other disciples) have seen, heard and touched the Word of Life, which is John's way of referring to Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Christ was not a figment of their imagination, but a genuine living Person. (see John 1:1-4,14).
